Football Finals for weekend of 25/26 August

It’s grand final week for Junior Boys Football

A fantastic effort on 5 teams making it into grand finals this week and another 2 sides getting close after suffering defeats last weekend.   

 Times of games for this weekend’s grand finals are as follows.

  • Saturday U13 Div 6 St. Marys Dunstan v Portarlington 10.35 at Lara oval 2
  • Saturday U13 Div 1 Torquay v St Marys Rodgers  1.10pm at Lara oval 1
  • Sunday U15 Div 3 St Marys Dobbyn v Barwon Heads 11.05am at Lara oval 1
  • St Marys U15 Div 1  St. Marys McMahon v Newtown 1.10pm at Lara 1
  • St.Marys U17 Div 1 St Marys Digby v St. Josephs 3.15pm at Lara 1

We encourage everyone to watch all the games with the U17 game finishing at approx. 5.00pm on Sunday.

We will then all head back to the rooms where the club will put on a BBQ and soft drinks for all the kids and open the bar for the adults for a well-earned drink after all the good work the coaches, helpers and players have put in.

All parents, friends and players for all U13, U15 and U17 sides are welcome to attend and we encourage for all players who have already finished and their parents to be there so we can thank them for the year.

Senior Women’s Football final

Our Senior Women will be playing for a spot in the grand final when they come up against Geelong Amateurs on Sunday August 26 at Drysdale’s Stockdale & Leggo oval at 2.45pm
