St Mary’s Sporting Club – Senior Football Coach update

Troy Mitchell has advised the Club that he would be unable to continue as the stand alone Coach in 2018, due to work commitments.
 
Although the Committee and playing group were keen to pursue Troy’s proposal, for a joint coaching arrangement with Kane Purcell, the financial terms presented were not within the Clubs capacity to meet – in line with all other financial obligations.

The Club would like to thank Troy and the coaching team on the job they have done over the past 2 years developing our young list; they have put a structure in place that will hold the Club in good stead in coming years.  The Club wishes them all the very best in the future.  

We would like to inform members and supporters that we are now seeking a new senior football coach for the 2018 season. The Club has put together a subcommittee to commence the search for a new coach and are advertising for applicants immediately.
