2026 Winter Netball Registration
Please note: We recommend that new netballers participating in junior trials wait until the trial outcomes before completing this process.
There is an updated process required to register for 2026 Netball Winter Competition
STEP 1
- Netball Connect (VNA payment) refers to the links below, depending on the player’s team selection. It is compulsory for all players, coaches and umpires to have a valid 2026 Netball Connect (VNA).

- Junior (17 & Under): $73
- Senior (18 & Over): $94
- Validity: 1 January 2026 – 31 December 2026

*Saturday players link can be used for players who played for St Mary’s last year and for brand new netballers who have not played at another GFL or BFL club. Players who have been registered at another GFL or BFL club need to complete a clearance via PlayHQ– see below step 2.

Complete these details player registration and membership.
Netball clearances
Clearances are required for any player moving with AFL Barwon teams (ie GFNL/BFNL and AFL Barwon Clubs ) By initiating the clearance, the player is acknowledging their desire to move from the previous club to a new club.
Only one clearance will be granted per season by AFL Barwon as per the AFL Barwon by-laws.
To initiate a clearance:
- The Player register in PLAYHQ to St Mary’s using the following link. This begins the transfer process.

- Once approved, this will be approved at a league level.
- Finally, the destination club is able to approve the transfer.
- The participant then needs to complete the required registration steps for the future club
