2024 Winter Netball Registration

There are three steps required to register for 2024 Netball Winter Competition once you have been placed into a team

1. Netball Connect (VNA payment) refers to the two links below depending on the player’s team selection.  

2. Register to Play HQ for St Marys to Allocate your team selection (incorporating AFL Barwon Development Fee and Netball Australia Digital Fee)

3. Pay your Club Membership via website

It is compulsory for all players, coaches and umpires to have a valid 2024 Netball Connect (VNA) and Play HQ membership to take the court.

  • VNA Senior $86 


Saturday Competition

Tuesday 11/U & Friday 13/U, 15/U & 17/U Competition


Each player has to register via Play HQ once they have been allocated a team.There is an AFL Barwon Development fee of $5 Juniors or $10 Seniors, to be paid along with $4.49 Netball Australia Digital Fee.f you need to update your email address for you PlayHQ account, please do this prior to Registering her for the winter Season. This will save us having to merge peoples accounts before we can allocate your daughter to a team in the back end. Please do not create a new account

Netball Clearances

Clearances are required for any player moving with AFL Barwon teams (ie GFNL/BFNL and AFL Barwon Clubs ) By initiating the clearance, the player is acknowledging their desire to move from the previous club to a new club

Only one clearance will be granted per season by AFL Barwon as per the AFL Barwon by-laws.

To initiate a clearance:

  1. The Player register in PLAYHQ to St Mary’s using the following link. This begins the transfer process.
  2. The 2023 club will then need to approve/deny the clearance.
  3. Once approved, this will be approved at a league level.
  4. Finally, the destination club is able to approve the transfer.
  5. The participant then needs to complete the required registration steps.
