About Auskick at St Mary’s Sporting Club
NAB AFL Auskick is the best way to introduce kids to the great game of Aussie Rules Football! It’s all about fun, getting your hands on the ball, and constantly being involved in exciting activities.
We aim to help children become interested in sport, learn coordination skills, be part of a team, and, above all, have fun without emphasising competition.
No AFL experience? No worries! Auskick at St Mary’s offers an inclusive environment for everyone aged 5 – 10 at any skill level to play. Register for St Mary’s NAB Auskick today.
Updates and news throughout the season can be found on our Auskick News page.
We also encourage you to follow us on www.facebook.com/StMarysGeelong
Wet weather
Although football is a wet-weather sport, to ensure safety and a positive experience, our Auskick clinics are cancelled if persistent rain is forecast for a Friday evening.
Our usual indicator is that no clinic will be held if it rains at 4.45 pm. in Geelong on Friday.
Volunteering
Auskick is a volunteer-run program.
Parent participation is also encouraged to assist in their child’s activities. I would appreciate as many parents as possible becoming involved in assisting with the various activities and drills.
We also have availability for parents to volunteer in the Canteen on Friday night to support our Auskick community. Sign up today.
We look forward to an enjoyable Auskick, working with children and parents alike.
