St. Mary’s Sporting Club Celebrates PRIDE Round against Grovedale Tigers

This week, St. Mary’s Sporting Club is thrilled to participate in the annual AFL Barwon Pride Round. On Sunday, June 16th, at 2 pm, our senior female football team will face the Grovedale Tigers at Burdoo Drive, Grovedale, in a match that celebrates inclusivity and diversity within our community.

Since forming our first female football team, St. Mary’s Sporting Club has been committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all athletes. Our involvement in the Pride Round has been a significant part of this journey, reflecting our dedication to promoting diversity and acceptance within the club and the wider community.

St. Mary’s has embraced Pride Round, recognising the importance of celebrating and supporting the LGBTIQA+ community. Our club has consistently participated in this special event, demonstrating our commitment to the values of inclusivity and respect.
