Vale James (Jim) Mathieson

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of James (Jim) Mathieson. Aged 96 years.
Jim is a St Mary’s club legend – Life Member, Hall of Fame inductee and one of the many Mathiesons that have contributed voluntarily to our club.
A proud returned serviceman, he and brother Don controlled our club from its inception in 1952 and obviously superbly supported by his wife Mary.
Due to failing health and devotion to Mary in recent years, he was seldomly seen at our club.
He will be sadly missed.
