NAB Auskick Season Cancelled – 4th August 2020

Following the Victorian State Government’s announcement on Sunday 2nd August 2020 and the decision that Country Victoria will enter a minimum Stage 3 restriction for at least 6 weeks, the AFL regrets to inform that Community NAB AFL Auskick programs across the State of Victoria will not proceed as intended.

The Community NAB AFL Auskick program is not classified as an essential service during stage three restrictions.

I would like to thank all of the St. Mary’s Auskickers for their participation this year.  I would also like to thank our Auskick parents for choosing St. Mary’s Sporting Club for the commencement of your child’s football journey.   

These programs do not operate without the assistance of coaches and parent support on the ground each Friday night.   To all who have assisted this year a big thank you from myself.    A special thank you to the St. Mary’s men’s and women’s senior team members who have assisted this year in coaching roles.

I encourage all Auskickers and their families to stay connected and tune into NAB AFL Auskick at Home and Footy at Home to keep practicing their football skills!

Looking forward to seeing you at St Mary’s Sporting Club Auskick or playing for one of the St. Mary’s junior football teams in 2021.
