Auskick 2025 – and that’s a wrap

The 2025 St. Mary’s Auskick season commenced in April and saw a continued growth in participation numbers from the previous season.

295 Auskickers registered with St. Mary’s and Anthony Costa Oval was a hive of activity each Friday evening, through to our presentation evening in August, where we were fortunate to have the support of former St. Mary’s players Jack Henry and Toby Conway from the Geelong Cats.

Our female football program continued to be supported by our ‘ Girls Only’ Auskick program, with 74 females registered this season. Significant growth in female numbers from the previous season.

The success of our Auskick program has been due to the support received from our senior men’s and women’s footballers and from both the Under 18 and 16 teams.

This ongoing support from these players is very much appreciated, and the Club send our sincere thanks.

‘Our 2025 Auskick season ended Friday with our presentation evening. A big thank you to all the kids and parents for being part of our Auskick and to the coaches who helped out throughout the season. We also thank Jack Henry and Toby Conway from the Geelong Football Club for returning to St. Mary’s to help with the presentation.

Looking forward to seeing you all next season, either at Auskick or playing in our junior teams at St. Mary’s.’  Damien McKeegan, Auskick Coordinator.
