Celebrating the people behind St Mary’s this National Volunteer Week
This National Volunteer Week, we proudly recognise and thank the incredible volunteers who help bring our club to life every single week.
Behind every game, training session, meal served, raffle sold, player supported, and event delivered is a volunteer giving their time to support our community.
Our coaches, team managers, scorers, board members, canteen volunteers, bar staff, age group coordinators, Auskick families and supporters all play an important role in creating a welcoming, inclusive and connected environment for our players and families.
Volunteering at St Mary’s is about much more than helping run sport. It helps create friendships, a sense of belonging, community pride, and opportunities for people of all ages to connect.
Whether it is helping set up before a game, assisting in the canteen, supporting a team or simply lending a hand when needed, every contribution makes a difference.
As a community club, we rely on people coming together to support one another — and we are incredibly grateful for everyone who contributes their time, energy and passion to St Mary’s.
If you have ever considered getting involved, now is a great time to join in. There are many ways to help, and even small contributions can have a big impact.
To all of our volunteers: thank you for everything you do for St Mary’s Sporting Club and our wider community.
