U12s girls football arrives at St Mary’s

For the very first time this year we are fielding an U12s girl’s football team at St Mary’s.  The team played their first match against Torquay last Sunday and despite having only trained together once or twice, had a super time kicking, handballing and marking.  We look forward to teaching these young girls solid fundamental skills of footy and rules of the game in the months ahead.  The formation of this team means that young girls can now move from Auskick to junior footy and right through to senior women’s football at our club.
