Let’s get ready for 2026! Membership and player registration now open

Following an outstanding 2025 season on and off the field, St Mary’s Sporting Club is excited to open membership and player registration for the 2026 football and netball season.

With strong participation, development and community connection across the club in 2025, we are looking forward to building on that momentum as we head into 2026.

To support a smoother and more connected experience for players and families, there are some important changes to the membership and registration process this year.

We encourage everyone to read the information below carefully before getting their membership or registering.

Club membership

Membership plays a vital role in supporting St Mary’s operations, facilities, coaching, equipment and volunteer programs. A range of membership options is available to support families.

Full details on membership options can be found here:

What’s new for 2026

For the 2026 season, single-player membership and player registration can now be completed together during registration.

However, Family, Halo and Sponsorship memberships continue to be managed through TidyHQ, as they have been in previous years. The key change for 2026 is the timing.

These memberships must be completed and paid for before a player is registered.

This is because a unique St Mary’s membership number is now required at the time of player registration to correctly link the membership with the player in the league systems.

How the 2026 registration and membership process works

Before registering a player, please follow these steps:

  1. If you are purchasing a Family or Halo membership, complete and pay for this first via TidyHQ.
  2. You will receive a unique membership number once payment is complete.
  3. Use this membership number when completing the player registration process through Play HQ as required in the form field.
  4. Club sponsors will need to use the sponsorship product during the registration process and include the name of the sponsorship within the process.

Single-player memberships and registrations are now combined in PlayHQ, and membership options can be selected and paid for during player registration, without requiring a separate TidyHQ step.

Both membership and registration are required for a player to train or compete in the 2026 season.

Player registration

All players must complete league registration for 2026, including returning players. League registration covers insurance and eligibility and is completed via the relevant platform for football or netball.

Registration will not be considered complete unless the correct membership details are provided at the time of registration.

Looking ahead to 2026

After a fantastic 2025 season, the club is excited about what lies ahead in 2026. From juniors through to seniors, football and netball, St Mary’s continues to focus on development, connection and representing the club with pride.

Completing membership and registration early will help the club prepare teams, support coaches and ensure everyone is ready for round one.

If you have any questions about the updated process, please email info@stmaryssc.com

We look forward to another strong year at St Mary’s.
