St Mary’s Big Night Out returns – Join us for Top End Nights!
The countdown is on for one of the biggest nights on the St Mary’s Sporting Club calendar!
On Saturday 15 August, our clubrooms will be transformed into a tropical Top End paradise as we come together for St Mary’s Big Night Out – Top End Nights, proudly supporting our 2026 Darwin Cultural Exchange.
This isn’t just another social event. It’s one of our major club fundraisers and plays a vital role in helping our young footballers take part in a life-changing cultural exchange experience.
Every two years, St Mary’s provides players with the opportunity to travel to Darwin, where they immerse themselves in Aboriginal culture, visit remote communities, build lifelong friendships and represent our club on and off the football field. The experience teaches respect, understanding and community values that stay with our players long after they return home.
This year’s Big Night Out promises to be another fantastic evening, bringing together players, families, sponsors, supporters, volunteers and friends of the club for a night of great entertainment and fundraising.

The Darwin Cultural Exchange has been a proud tradition of St Mary’s for more than two decades. It provides young people with opportunities to grow as leaders, develop a deeper appreciation of Indigenous culture and create memories that will last a lifetime.
